ABOUT US

Dream Hive Scholarship (formerly Dare to Dream Scholarship) was established in 2021 with the aim of providing brilliant but underprivileged students with financial support so that they can excel academically without the financial stress. Aside this, the program provides students with mentorship and academic resources to aid in preparing them for the global job market.  Currently, the Dream Hive Scholarship program only supports Ghanaian students who are attaining their bachelor’s degree in select programs in public Ghanaian tertiary institutions (see * for detail).

OUR AIM

Dream Hive Scholarship aims not only to provide financial support to brilliant underprivileged students, but to also equip them with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the global job market, regardless of their chosen field. Through access to technical learning resources, personalized mentorship, and hands-on workshops that cover a range of topics such as resume building, business knowledge, and technical topics, the program seeks to empower students to reach their full potential and achieve their career goals in addition to introducing them to what the technical world has to offer.

OUR STRATEGY

Our strategy to achieve the goal of preparing our students for the global job market is to offer a comprehensive program that includes access to technical learning resources, mentorship, and workshops that cover a wide range of topics, including resume building, online presence, and technical interview preparation. We also provide our students with job and internship opportunities, as well as graduate school opportunities, to help them achieve their career goals. Our aim is to equip our students with the skills and resources they need to succeed in today’s competitive job market.

HOW WE DIFFER

At Dream Hive Scholarship, we are revolutionizing the traditional approach to student support. While many organizations may simply provide financial aid, we believe that this is just the beginning. Our program recognizes the limitations of traditional education and provides a comprehensive support system to equip students with the skills they need to succeed in the global job market, regardless of their chosen discipline. By offering a variety of technical learning resources, mentorship, workshops, and job and internship opportunities, we are empowering students to take control of their future and make informed decisions about their careers. Furthermore, we extend our support beyond financial aid, providing students with the knowledge, resources, and connections they need to succeed in the tech industry or wherever their passion may lie. In this way, we are unique and innovative in our approach to student support and are having a lasting impact on the next generation.
