About Us: Established in 2021 as Dare to Dream Scholarship and now known as Dream Hive Scholarship, we support financially disadvantaged Ghanaian students pursuing bachelor’s degrees in select programs at public tertiary institutions. Our mission extends beyond financial aid to equip students with vital skills for global job market success through mentorship, technical resources, workshops, and career opportunities.

Our Strategy: We offer a comprehensive support system, including technical learning resources, mentorship, workshops (e.g., resume building, interview prep), and job/internship opportunities. Our goal is to empower students with the skills and resources needed to excel in the competitive job market.

How We Differ: Unlike traditional aid, we go beyond financial support. Our unique approach combines financial aid with skill-building, resource access, and industry connections. We prepare students for success in diverse fields, revolutionizing student support and leaving a lasting impact on the next generation.

Dream Hive Scholarship is exclusively available to Ghanaian students who are either:

• High school seniors (SHS) who have gained admission to a public tertiary institution in Ghana to pursue a bachelor’s degree (4 or more years)
  
  
• Current university students attending public tertiary Ghanaian institutions. Students must be pursuing their bachelor’s degree (4 or more years program)

• Dream Hive Scholarship’s Mentorship Program allows students to engage with the organization without needing a scholarship offer.
• Unlike the regular scholarship application process, students can directly apply for the Mentorship Program.
• Accepted participants in the Mentorship Program gain access to all Dream Hive events and meetings.
• It’s important to note that while they enjoy program participation, they do not receive a scholarship or some of the benefits reserved for scholars.

When the application period opens, students can apply by using the application link to fill out the application form. Currently, the application is closed, but we will notify all students who are subscribed to our newsletter and follow our social media pages when it becomes available. • Essay Quality: We scrutinize the quality of essays, including grammar, punctuation, and adherence to word count requirements.

• Adherence to Guidelines: We evaluate applicants’ ability to follow guidelines accurately, ensuring that every aspect of the application meets our standards.

• Communication Skills: We assess the clarity and effectiveness of communication in essays and other written materials.

• Adherence to Instructions: We assess applicants’ ability to follow instructions, including correctly uploading documents and avoiding application errors.

• Interview Performance: We evaluate how well students perform in their interviews as part of the selection process.

• Document Quality: We also review submitted documents to ensure they meet the required standards.

Our holistic approach ensures that we select scholars who demonstrate strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions accurately in their application materials.
